"I contribute to and receive from a rich and abundant environment."

Do I think of the environment in which I live as something apart from me or even foreign to me at times? Nothing could be further from the truth. I am part of an environment created by God.

Lovingly and thoughtfully, I contribute to the environment by living and working in accord with the people, animals, plants, and earth that make up the environment.

I may especially appreciate fresh air, clean water, lush vegetation, grand mountains, or sprawling plains that enrich my life. Being a good caretaker, I am responsible for maintaining such beauty and wonder.

I value the people who make up the environment of my home, my neighborhood, my workplace, and my whole world. I am both a giver and a receiver in a rich and abundant environment.

"Think of us in this way, as servants... and stewards of God's mysteries."
- 1 Corinthians 4:1

O Lord, take my love, and let it flow in fullness of devotion to Thee;
O Lord, take my hands, and let them work incessantly for Thee;
O Lord, take my soul, and let it be merged in One with Thee;
O Lord, take my mind and thoughts, and let them be in tune with Thee;
O Lord, take my everything, and let me be an instrument to work for Thee.
