"I greet each day with a joyful heart."
Words of joy remind me that joy is part of my spiritual heritage. As I speak out with joy, I claim my heritage of happiness, peace, and joy.
Whatever I am doing, I determine to do it with a joyful heart. I know that I will receive more joy than I give, for this is divine law : "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back."
Joy is like a mighty river - constantly flowing from God through me and uniting with the joy of people all around me. Together we enfold our world in joy.
I let the wellspring of joy flow freely from me so that I can be an open channel for even greater gladness. Out of that joy, I discover that my activities are meaningful experiences, and people are my friends.
"You have put gladness in my heart."
