"As I let my mind, body, and emotions rest, I gain balance and new strength."
Sometimes, no matter how much I have to do, a few moments of rest will give me the boost to do all I need to do. And because I am paying attention, I know when my body is telling me to rest. So I rest.
If I am trying to resolve a difference with others and no resolution appears, perhaps the best thing I can do is to let it rest. By the time I next meet with them, the problem may have taken care of itself. If not, then I am refreshed and more alert to the right answers and actions.
Letting myself or a situation rest can be a great help. The very life and intelligence of God within the cells of my body communicate with me as I rest. The wisdom of God that I receive will influence every decision I make, every action I take.
"Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens,
and I will give you rest."
