"Laughter invigorates and revitalizes me."
How often have I been reminded, "laughter is the best medicine"? And it does feel good to have a hearty laugh or even a gentle chuckle.
When I laugh, especially if I find something very amusing, I am physically energized and invigorated. The more I laugh, the more air I take in. As my lungs work harder, so, too, does my heart - pumping blood faster and revitalizing every cell and muscle of my body.
Mentally, I alleviate my mind of worry, stress, or strain. All else is forgotten as my mind focuses on the humor at hand.
The laughter I enjoy can also be shared with others. Telling an amusing story can brighten someone's day.
Through the power of laughter, I am invigorated and revitalized.
"A glad heart makes a cheerful countenance."
