“In my sacred space, I retreat to the presence of God.”
I can create a sacred space in my mind where I retreat from the everyday activity and confusion around me and be totally in the presence of God. I begin to relax and feel peaceful and content. I linger in the glow of God’s presence, secure in the knowledge that I am being constantly cared for.
Whether I enter my sacred space on a regular basis, at the same time every day, or if I tend to enter it only when I am feeling stressed, I know that the door to inner peace is always open to me.
I enter my sacred space with joy and enthusiasm, for I am aware of God’s presence there. Troubles are left behind, and stress is a thing of the past. Once I connect with God, all anxieties are gone. I leave the sacred space to resume my day, refreshed, renewed, and revitalized. I eagerly greet the day!
“In him was life, and the life was the light of all people.” - John 1:4
