“I free myself from the past by moving on into the now.”

At times I may have a tendency to be my own worst critic about things I have done or “bad” habits that I have picked up. But if God never condemns me, then why would I ever condemn myself?

The past has no control over me. So if someone tries to hold me to past mistakes, I can break free. How do I do this? By moving on with my life and blessing that person, knowing that the past is merely a steppingstone to today.

Only God has power over me. When I declare myself to be free from negative habits, I free my body from the compulsions it had toward those habits. I give thanks that my body has the divine potential for renewed health and energy, which are continually being brought forth.

I break free from the past and begin to live totally in the now.

“Beloved, let us love one another.”

O Lord, take my love, and let it flow in fullness of devotion to Thee;
O Lord, take my hands, and let them work incessantly for Thee;
O Lord, take my soul, and let it be merged in One with Thee;
O Lord, take my mind and thoughts, and let them be in tune with Thee;
O Lord, take my everything, and let me be an instrument to work for Thee.
