“I live and move in the presence of God.”
Changing weather, urgent needs, and unexpected events may seem to cause me to make decisions I feel uncomfortable about making or may cause me to be in places I would rather not be.
Yet the important thing to remember is that wherever I am, no matter how far I travel or whatever the conditions may be, I am always, always in the presence of God.
This does not mean that I abandon good judgment, which is, after all, direction from God. If I am guided to stay put during a rainstorm or a snowstorm, I do just that.
But I do not live in fear of weather conditions or other circumstances. I live in faith in the presence of God.
“If I take the wings of the morning and settle at the farthest limits of the sea,
even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me fast.”
- Psalm 139:9-10
