“My faith in God is a confidence builder.”
When a baby bird is ready to leave the nest and fly, it may hesitate for a few seconds before taking the plunge into the air. As the fledging teeters precariously on the edge, the parents, although nearby, stay back. They follow their instinct and allow the baby to do what needs to be done by it to better its own life.
As a child of God, I also have the faith and strength of purpose to do those things that need to be done by me. I can explore the unknown and accept all that life has to offer me.
And if loved ones or friends are going through changes, I have the strength to let them do what they need to do – all the time offering support and encouragement. With faith that God is always in charge, I move into the unknown with assurance and confidence.
“Commit your way to the Lord.”
- Psalm 37:5
