"I am whole and holy, for I am strong in mind, body, and spirit."
I have had those mountaintop experiences. Maybe I was not at the top of an actual mountain, but I reached the heightened awareness that I am whole and holy. The exhilaration I felt was a rejoicing of my whole self - mind, body, and spirit.
And that kind of whole-self realization is what brings me to the mountaintop today. I experience what it is to call on spiritual power, the spirit of God within me, and to feel that response flooding my soul.
I think, pray, and act, knowing that the spirit of God renews my strength, guides my way, and empowers me. I am whole, and that wholeness includes wisdom and understanding, physical strength and endurance. All this I receive from the indwelling spirit of God.
"Be transformed by the renewing of your minds,
so that you may discern what is the will of God -
what is good and acceptable and perfect."
- Romans 12:2
