"God is the source of the love, understanding, and caring between friends."
Friends are special people with whom I share my hopes, my dreams, and my life. My friends may be family, co-workers, classmates, and neighbors, but whoever they are, we are united in a circle of love and prayer that keeps us close and in touch no matter how much distance separates us.
So whenever I am away from my friends or they are away from me, I remind myself that God's presence is at the core of each of us. The Holy Presence unites us - one friend with another.
Whenever and wherever loving, caring people come together, God is the "friend" in their friendships. God is the source of love, understanding, and caring that transpires between friends. What I love, revere, and connect with in my friends is truly divine.
"I have called you friends, because I have make known to you
everything that I have heard from my Father."
