Live this life as if it were your last. That means one pointed sincere yearning for the Lord. It means filling yourself with the virtues that please the Lord. The universe is yours, the Lord is yours for the asking, but at this stage, you will no longer 'want'. One basic principle is that whatever you offer to the Lord rebounds and comes back to you - so do not offer Him anger or the negative emotions of frustrations and insincerity, do not offer Him your bad actions. Offer Him only your love from a purified heart and see what miracles abound around you. Offer Him your heart and mind cleansed. Offer Him yourself, that is enough.
