Generally, how long has one to remain engaged in the sadhana? Is sadhana required even after realization?
A ladder has to be at least as tall as the height you want to reach; your sadhana has to be as long as the time taken to reach the goal. When the walls are completed, the scaffolding is removed; when the Vision of Reality is attained, japa, vrata, puja, archana, sravana, keertana - forms of spiritual disciplines can be dispensed with.(SSS Vol 5, Pg 27)
