To the Lord, once you have won His heart, you are His forever. To Him, every single person, every soul on this earth is important. He thinks constantly of all of us. Just as we encourage, advise, console, berate and push our children to attain the highest. We try to discover their weaknesses and strengths : we correct their behavior - for what purpose? So that they may succeed in life! Why? We see it as a duty, a responsibility, because we want them to be successful and happy. So it is with the Lord for each and every one of us. He concerns Himself not only with the spiritual but also the material welfare. He desires that we should all reach the highest level and attain liberation, freedom and attain the ultimate which is oneness with Him, union with the divine. So, He is relentless in His guidance, His rules and His disciplines. He insists that we adhere to them to reach our goal.
