Duty Is Holy

Duty is related to one's obligations to society.  Freedom is related to expressing the will of the Divine.  The phenomenal world (Prakriti) is a projection of the Divine.  Hence, it should be regarded as holy.  Duty means recognizing the sacredness of one's obligations to Prakriti.  Each one must recognize that he (or she) is an image of the Divine and conduct himself on that basis.  He alone is a real man who lives his life in this way.

CONCENTRATE

"I concentrate on divine inspiration and I succeed."

I find great satisfaction in doing my best. If the task before me is interesting or challenging, I give it my undivided attention without much effort. Then I am able to accomplish what I set out to do.

When activities seem boring or too complex, I may lose concentration and become distracted. Perhaps I put things off or leave tasks uncompleted. When this happens, I remind myself that God's all-wise, all-accomplishing spirit is within me, helping me establish my life in divine order.

Such concentration draws together scattered thoughts so that they are all in focus. My mental energies are brought to bear on the one subject or project before me.

Concentrating on the inspiration I receive from God assures me of success.

True Happiness

Does real happiness lie in enjoying creature comforts?  No.  True happiness consists in manifesting all the potentialities in man.  When you put into practice all the sacred thoughts that emanate from your mind, you will realize true happiness.  Most people do not practice the sacred impulses that arise in them with the result that they do not experience the bliss within them.
