Whatever you give
Most importance to
That alone will remain
In your mind...
That alone will become
Your thought...
That alone will prompt you
What to say and do...
Soon the mind becomes consumed
And to divert it
Becomes an impossibility!
No doubt duty is important.
Work is important.
Survival is important.
But what is more important
Is that you in the midst
Of all these
Must remain peaceful,
Focused, content, fearless
Calm, patient and happy...
That is what is most important.
It is then that
Work becomes a selfless service
Duty becomes worship and
Survival becomes the media of
Self-Realization!
