Sai Darshan II, Part 1 - Message 40
Drunken in devotion
The devotee exclaimed,
"God, You finally
Revealed Your Self in me.
O how long I waited
To see Thy beauty
O how long it took me
To taste Thy truth
O how long it took me
To reach Thy gates.
O Lord
Why did it take so long?
Why did You make me wait?
As the devotee
Cried in ecstasy
He felt a drop upon him.
When he looked
He saw the Lord
With tears that streamed
From His beloved Lord
To him...
The Lord spoke...
"O devoted soul
I was always there
Before you.
It was you that could not taste
I always fed you
With the nectar
Of My truth.
It was you that could not see
My doors have always been
Open for you.
It is you that refused to step
Into My kingdom...
O friend
I have waited long before
You began your wait
But I have loved
Every moment of it
For I have waited
From then until now
To shed My tears
Of joy for your joy
And to show My faith
In you."
