Look into the past...
I will not dig anymore
For the worms that crawl
In my own filth and dirt...
I have to forget the past...
I have to forgive the wrongs
That anyone did toward me
In order for me
To cleanse the dirt
That sees it... and dwells on it...
It does not matter
If nothing else
Has changed...
I have... from now on
And I shall spend my time
In seeing good...
In being good...
In loving no matter what...
And remain
In constant contemplation
Of the wealth
That the Lord
Has placed
Within my heart!"
