Life would be easier if every situation had clearly defined rules, or if I knew in advance the results of my actions and where I stood in relation to everyone and everything. I would feel like a winner then, for I would know that by following the rules, my success was guaranteed.
In reality, few things in life are so simple, and I often have to make choices with which not everyone will agree. This is why it is important for me to look to God for direction. When I follow God's guidance, I will be a winner!
God leads me down paths that help me become more aware of my own spirituality. Then, I am more aware of God's presence; and this, above all else, is what truly makes me a winner!
I am a winner!
