Q429

What timetable should a sadhaka follow for his spiritual sustenance ?

A breakfast of pious repetition of Lord's name (japa) and meditation (dhyana), a lunch hour of ritual worship of the Lord (puja), 'tea and snacks' of reading scriptures or sacred books (pravachana) in the afternoon and a light dinner of devotional music (bhajan) in the early hours of the night. If you follow this regimen, you can sleep soundly and wake up refreshed.

(SSS Vol 5, pg 84-85)

O LORD, TAKE MY LOVE

O Lord, take my love, and let it flow in fullness of devotion to Thee;
O Lord, take my hands, and let them work incessantly for Thee;
O Lord, take my soul, and let it be merged in One with Thee;
O Lord, take my mind and thoughts, and let them be in tune with Thee;
O Lord, take my everything, and let me be an instrument to work for Thee.
