CHAPTER 54
You must make the name of God your only name - the name, when uttered with love and with constant sadhana of repetition, will become the only source that can save you, My child. Let this name become the breath of life, itself - Yes! Inhale it to purify the roots of your thoughts, to destroy the demons of your desires, to control the impurities of your senses, and then exhale, again, the strength of this name that will keep maya away, leaving only the vision of true reality, in an environment where God and only God prevails. Believe, My dears, in the power of this name, for it is your faith in this name that will simply take the form that you sincerely wish or desire. A simple sadhana, yet very effective in developing and maintaining constant purity, within. Yes! One name - but it is this name that will carry you all through this birth and several more, until the law of karma will make its bow forever to the victory of your inner strength of purity, and then death, too, will take its leave with the final defeat - leaving the name in you and you in the name forever. Whichever name, whenever called - know, I will respond! The calamity that falls upon you must change its course when the power of the name is experienced. The burns of and karma that you have faced in this struggle of life will begin its healing process by the mere utterance of His name.
Your body is the camera, and you are the film - turn the camera towards the form you want to capture, bring it into focus by turning all your attention towards Him, and the film will reflect that name and that form, instantly. When you doubt the efficiency of the sadhana of namasmarana, you are simply doubting the faith that you withhold, you are only fearing the concept of leaving all your attachments and staying attached only to Me, you are hesitant upon giving up your laziness that you have become accustomed to, and your biggest doubt of all is, maybe, facing the rejection and refusal of God's response to you. Tell Me, instead of facing these constant failures of doubts and fears, is it not simpler for you to follow and believe in one simple solution that is sure to save you - one day - believe and live for that day, have faith that God responds to every call that comes from the heart, be determined to continue with every fall, in the hope to see the sunrise on that blessed day, when God will wait for you. Attach yourselves, today, to the strings of My name, make peace with all your fears, begin to realize the folly of your own doubts, and learn to develop the strength of your faith in Me - My faith will always remain unshaken in you!
