"Centered in the presence of God within me, I relax."
I always do myself and those around me a favor when I relax and release pressure and tension. Actually, relaxation is an attitude of mind as much as it is inactivity. When I carry with me a complete realization of the presence of God, my daily responsibilities do not exhaust me. I relax and enjoy what I am doing instead of allowing tension and anxiety to dissipate my creative energy.
The most effective way for me to continue to develop the state of mind that permits relaxed and peaceful living is through prayer. As I take time every day - even if only for five or ten minutes - to let my thoughts be on the presence of God within me, I will realize a sense of true peace. Relaxed and at peace, I gain a perspective on life that promotes my good and the good of others.
"Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace -
in peace because they trust in you."
