Silence the mind
With the strength of patience.
Revere the truth
And strictly adhere
To its ways -
Do not feel
That you are punished
When hardships come
Your way
In fact wake up
And face them...
Stare at them I say
Right into the eye
And capture
The weakness
Of wishing pain
To go easily...
You must be ferocious enough
To frighten the devils
Of spiritual laziness -
Protect the virtues
That lie within
The core of your heart -
Just like a tigress that protects her cubs
From strangers...
Roar aloud
Before the enemies
That lurk in the fearful mind
Awaken and come
To tie you
And imprison you
For now and lifetimes to come.
