It is only your yearning and seeking and the implicit conviction that God can be attained in a personal manner that will open the doors to His heart and win for you the key to that blessed door. Love is THE power to use. The power of love has exactly the same effect as meditation, yet meditation without love will not bring you intimacy with God; will not bring you that sheer delight of His personal company. Unless you cultivate love, forbearance, humility, faith and reverence, how can it be possible to win God's love? God is love and can be won only through the cultivation and exercise of love.
