Whether I am returning home from a business trip or vacation, I feel relief and contentment stir within me when I see the first familiar landmark. Yet, no matter how far I may travel from my family, friends, or community, I am always at home with God.
The spirit of God is within me wherever I may go. Knowing this, I experience an inner peace which nourishes my soul. I have spiritual strength that empowers me to face any situation with calm resolve.
As I bask in the warm glow of God's peace, I hear the gentle whisper of inspiration in my heart: "Rest, for you are safe with Me. Be at peace, for I am with you."
God assures me that I am not alone.
