Many spiritual aspirants are under a misconception today. If you ask them why they are doing various forms of Sadhana (spiritual practices), they reply that they are doing them in order to merge with God. Do not think that you are human and that you have to reach the state of the Divine. Know that you have descended from God, as a human being, and that eventually you will go back to your source. Do not regard God as someone separate and distinct from you, God is very much within you.
