Sometimes I wish I had it all - all I think I need or should have. Yet, when I clear away the confusion over wants and needs, I understand that it is the simple things in life - the golden times - that mean the most to me.
Golden moments are filled with the people and experiences that bring me the greatest fulfillment. They may be times of togetherness with family and friends, enjoying conversation and laughter. Or they may be times away from everyone as I simply relax in blessed solitude for a few moments.
I realize that any success or prosperity I have enjoyed is most accurately measured by what has touched my heart and warmed my soul. And the most golden of moments can happen again and again - every time I realize that God's spirit lives within me.
Each moment that I am aware of You, God, is a golden moment in my life.
