When I live in each moment with an awareness of God, I am infused with spiritual power and understanding. So, instead of being overwhelmed by thinking about all that I need to do to reach a goal, I feel at peace. I can then concentrate on taking one step at a time toward my goal.
At peace, I choose the goals that are most meaningful to me. If I need to lose weight, I commit to losing the first pound of my weight-loss goal, which in turn inspires me along the way till I reach my ideal weight.
If I am saving for a down payment on a home or for college tuition, I focus on saving a few dollars at a time, which continues to close the gap between me and my goal. Every moment I am aware of God enriches me and everything I do.
Aware of God, I am infused with spiritual power and understanding.
