Without a goal to work toward, we will not get there.
- Natasha Josefowitz
I would not think of taking a trip or a vacation without first making preparations. Then, because I have already taken care of details, I can give my full attention to enjoying the scenery and my activities.
And there is an even higher order of preparation : spending time with God. Immersing myself in the presence of God has long-lasting results : I feel less stress and do not worry about the little things - things I usually have no control over anyway. I feel more relaxed and prepared to deal with whatever comes my way.
I rely on God's wisdom to guide me. If I encounter an obstacle in the road ahead, I am prepared. I can choose to go around it or I can attempt to remove it. Whatever my decision, it is based on sound judgment and inspired by God.
With God, I am always prepared.
