There are two requirements for our prayer :
enjoyment of every earthly blessing which God bestows on us -
a thankful reflection of the goodness of the Giver and
a thankful reflection of the goodness of the Giver and
a deep sense of the unworthiness of the receiver.
The first would make us grateful, the second humble.
