CHAPTER 55
Life is carried in the instrument called the "body", and along with time, the body begins its process of being crippled - slowly, by constant aging, and developing diseases. All through life, you carry with you your burdens of your so called "likes" and "dislikes", and then when you begin to sense that the end - the end of this lifetime may be near, you begin to panic and fail in your compromises with God. Preparation to meet "death" and to comprehend the greatness of God cannot be made at the end of life's journey.
At whatever age, at whatever stage, begin your birth, today, as the "child of God". Change all your "dislikes" into "likes", and stay unattached to the "likes" - give up the disgust and disbelief in others, go beyond, My dears, from the form of the body in everyone, and look for and recognize only the universal energies of divinity that exists in each one of them. You surround yourselves with the people you seem to think you care for and love - your mother, father, brother, sister, spouses, children, friends - yet, with each of them, you have built your own wall of differences, and even though a speck of selfish love may be present, you still have not experienced pure divine love that sees "them" as "you". Even with them, you have elevated yourselves on a superficial disc of superiority. You have made yourselves "the God" in your own little worlds - the world that refuses to accept the alikeness of all.
Think, today, O sweet, if you truly are the God you think yourselves to be, then why are you facing constant attacks of malice and hatred, envy and jealousy, anger and greed? Why do you fear in exposing yourselves, why the agitation of constant failure in identifying yourselves, and why do you feel that you must prove your worth of goodness constantly to others? The simple answer being, that this "little God" is only your own menacing "ego" that makes you believe and have faith in your own negative energies that makes constant compromises with your own internal enemies and will constantly shelter you from the harsh truth - Yes! The truth where you will know that it is you that can make all the difference, the truth where it is you that must make all the changes, the truth that exposes the dirt that lies in your own eyes, the truth that exposes you as being the only "fault", the only "enemy" and the only "impurity"! The truth will hurt, at first, but let Me promise you that once you have faced the truth and accepted it - truth, itself, will become your medicine to heal. The truth will become the reason of your own disgust - the reason of your own determination to find this "God of truth". The disc of superficiality must begin its descent, must learn to kneel and join its hands with all humility and all love. The wall of superiority must be demolished - take a walk, My dears, to the other side, and find yourselves by serving with true love, for once, making true friends!
