We are never alone when we try to do the right thing. God is always with us, making us a majority.
- Mary Katherine MacDougall
At some phase in my life - whether I have moved out on my own, ended a relationship, or lost a loved one - I may be living alone for the first time. But in this and all other circumstances, my faith in God will sustain me.
I can never really be alone because God's presence is with me to guide me in all that I do. God provides for my needs - the comfort I seek, the assurance I desire. And if I do find myself without human companionship, I use that time of solitude to become more aware of God.
In the presence of God, I am given unconditional love and acceptance. The indwelling spirit of God is the source of life which energises me and the breath of life which renews me. God has given me life, and through the life I live, I bless others. No, I am never alone, for God is with me now and always.
In the presence of God, I receive unconditional love and acceptance.
