Today, parents are worried about the conduct of their children. They do not realize that they are themselves to be blamed. If the parents had brought up the children on the right lines and by good personal example, would they go astray? Pampering children in various ways, they are allowed to go about like street dogs! How can such children be reformed? It is impossible. When wealth grows, arrogance increases and morality declines.
The father must encourage the son by example more than precept.
Why blame the boys and girls that they do not respect elders or obey their parents or believe in God or adhere to high principals of character? The elders are not providing them examples to show those traits on character are useful or valuable or essential.
