CHAPTER 57
Restrain the mind, restrict the tongue, and reply to your every battle, only when you are certain that your message spells "peace". Endure the pain, ignore your pride, and react under all circumstances, only with "duty" as your primary goal and with "love" which is your only possession and your only gift to give. All else, My dears, must be burnt and destroyed in the fire of sacrifice - Yes! The sacrifice in saving another soul with your forbearance and with your kindness to forgive - your greatness in being able to climb every wall of difference and conquering this difference with your strength to stay unaffected by it, thus, crumbling the wall and melting the difference with an embrace. Embrace those who are weakened by their own miseries and strengthen them, thereby.
Remember, the sword will fall from the hands of the enemy, when the courage of truth will shine in your eyes. You must fight - Fight! But not with the weapon of the weak enemy! Fight! But not being hopeless with the fear to confront! Fight! Not to win, O child, but only to let the truth live. Yes! The battle must continue, not to slander the wicked, but to protect and foster goodness - the God that exists in each one.
Know that the one who strays, is actually only looking for your help to find his way. Do not punish him any further, for he is the unfortunate that has remained thirsty, looking for love and has not been able to recognize that the ocean of pure love is his home and is where he comes from. Make each one of his complaints your reason to serve and be the "silent listener" to all his agitations, with no arguments. Listen, My dears, to give him peace, and once the peace in him will begin to dawn, he will extend his hand of friendship, faith, and his dependence on you. Your "new friend", will now, with your strength, start his own journey of love.
Even if one soul is saved by your strength that speaks the goodness of God, know, that your life is then My message. Know that defending your "pain" will inflict even more - so let the "I" hurt, and only then, will the eye of God awaken. Pay no attention when the "I" "protests", in fact, become "prone to this test". Understand that the battle lies internally and not externally, and know that you are your own friend and your own enemy. All else, is only being entrapped in the minds and illusion. Live not in the fog of falsehood, for one day, when this fog will clear, you will not recognize the reflection of your own image. One day, My dears, you will weep - weep to see the pieces of you that lay scattered - the cause of death being - you!
