When somethings happens that affects me deeply, it is easy for me to become so involved in such an event that everything else fades away. I live completely in the moment and do not allow anything to distract me from what I am seeing or feeling or doing.
Yet at times, I may forget to stay focused. Then I become distracted and forget to live every moment as if it were the most important moment of my life. I can change this! I can make the choice to live each moment to the fullest by not worrying about things from the past or about what may happen in the future.
The past is over and the future will take care of itself. Right now, this present moment, is where I am. Every minute spent in full awareness is a sacred time in which I can become more aware of God's loving presence within me and around me.
Each moment that I am totally aware of God is a sacred time.
