God, Your spirit within me is the source of every gladness I have ever experienced or could ever experience. The moment I accepted Your presence as the joy in my soul, I awakened to a delight of spirit that words cannot describe.
Joy in my soul comforts me in my times alone - whether I am living alone for the first time or have been for many years. I may not always feel included in a circle of friends or family, but I know that You always encircle me with love and caring. I need never face anything alone.
Joy in my soul heals me. The gladness of Your spirit living through me cleanses me of any condition that would work against my health and vitality. God, You are the gladness of my whole being, and I am at peace and totally well.
God, You are the joy in my soul.
