Sai ram Brothers and Sisters in Sai,
When I woke up early this morning and was lying in the darkness, my mind began to contemplate on this recent divine drama of Swami's. Regardless of whether the Lord of the Universe needs our prayers or not for His physical body's recovery, or whether it is His way of bringing to our immediate attention the need to pray incessantly as One, a thought dawned upon me...
Amongst the many divine teachings He has brought to mankind, Swami has spent 85 years on earth teaching us how to chant mantras and sing bhajans. He has reminded us constantly that man will be able to get closer to God by practicing His teachings. And man who is seeking Liberation would grasped at any opportunity for such a realization.
Could it be that He has been preparing us to be His soldiers, the allies who would stand by Him at the turbulent end of Kali Yuga? We, who are now equipped with the knowledge on how to chant prayers, who are courageous with the awareness of our divine Self and whose hearts are pure which will not succumb easily to negative forces.
The questions that we have to ask ourselves further are...
1) Have we become the ally He wants us to be?
2) Are we strong enough to stand beside Him in these times of turbulence?
If we are still unsure of the answers to the above, it is definitely high time for us to make a firm decision. The hour is indeed critical now as the dawn of a new era is approaching fast. Those who have been waiting for 'His call' should not dilly-dally anymore. The fact that today we are already bowing at His Lotus Feet is the sure sign that He has called us.
We are at our individual levels of sadhana (spiritual path) and our knowledge may vary... but there is one thing shining brilliantly in all our hearts which is One and that is our Atma (Divine Self). Let us now strive harder to go beyond Maya (worldly illusion) and allow that illuminating Higher Self within us to guide our paths.
Question : Where will I find God?
Swami : [The] Divine Principle is the very core of man. ... It is the source of strength which is unfailing and irresistible. ... The Divine is here before you, behind you, inside you, outside you; the Intelligence through which you can recognize.
Loving Sai Rams,
