Let Us Do Our Part Now

During times of disaster, men come together with joint hands in prayer, in service contribution, in giving assistance to whoever is in need. All pettiness and differences are set aside immediately when there are more urgent matters at hand, i.e., saving the lives of human beings. How many times have we looked at pictures of disaster-stricken areas and wished we could be there to wipe a tear, feed the hungry, or attend to a wound?

The presence of God is prevalent in every heart that feels compassion for others and some would even reach out to help, however small is the deed. This is Selfless Love which lies deep within each and every one of us, regardless of our color or creed. When our eyes see beyond the physical form, our hearts are one and the same.

No one knows when or where the next disaster will strike... thus, all are at risk. Today, it could be our neighbor who cries out in distress... tomorrow, it could be our turn.

Let us do our part now and give our love generously. Let us pray for the sick and the despair. Let us feed the hungry. Let us comfort those who are in pain. Let us lend our shoulder for others to rest upon.

It is His Love that radiates through us... Love All, Serve All.

O LORD, TAKE MY LOVE

O Lord, take my love, and let it flow in fullness of devotion to Thee;
O Lord, take my hands, and let them work incessantly for Thee;
O Lord, take my soul, and let it be merged in One with Thee;
O Lord, take my mind and thoughts, and let them be in tune with Thee;
O Lord, take my everything, and let me be an instrument to work for Thee.
