That comes your way
Turn you away
From God...
In fact whenever
You face
A time so tough
Say to yourself,
"Lord, why is it
That you have allowed me
To lose your vision?
Why is it that I see
The face of fear
Upon my face
Instead of the confident smile
That you reflect
Through this body?
Why is it
That I am listening
To the words of doubt
That play havoc in my mind
Instead of my mind
Yearning for your words of wisdom?
What is it
That I have lost, O Lord?
Is it You... or
Is it me?"
