A Thoughtful Process
(10 - 20)
10. When you make your thought the “Master” you make your Self the “slave”. And when the Self obeys and follows the train of thought without exerting upon it its will… it becomes bitter and resentful toward itself…
11. A thought is worthy of respect only when the Self is in full control of it.
12. When one tries to be happier with someone or something more than he is with his Self, it is then that he begins his path with misery.
13. The nature of the mind is to think. The nature of the thinker is to observe and witness the thought without being a part of it.
14. The Self can replace a thought with another thought. The problem comes when a thought begins to replace the true Self with the deluded Self…
15. The thinker must be in full control of guiding his thought. The thought must not be allowed to escape into the past or run steps ahead into the future.
16. The mind does not have to be trained with a whip. The thoughts cannot be forced to subside. They have to be transformed into love.
17. Know fear to be your False EAR. It always listens to the voice that goes against the nature of the soul.
18. Measuring the gain and loss in your work shall give birth to a troubled mind.
19. An obsession of a desire will lead to the destruction of the mind.
20. To ride the wave of thoughts one has to be balanced in the truth of his Self.
