The word Aadhyatmic or spiritual is often used by aspirants and perceptors. What exactly is meant by Aadhyatmic? Is Bhajan or congregational prayer Aadhyatmic? Or does it involve Japa (repetition of God's name) and Dhyana (meditation) or does it denote religious rituals and ceremonies? Or does it extend to pilgrimages to holy places. No. No. These are all merely beneficial acts. Aadhyatmic in its real sense relates to achieving two things - elimination of animal traits still clinging to man and unification of individual to Divine.
